I read one of his books, called The Screwtape Letters, quite a few years ago & thought it was very well written.

I thought he was a realy genius writer.
I read The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe all those years ago too.
Actually, I need to refresh my memory on these. I know this story was an allegory . I used to have a cat that I named Aslan.

I also saw the film called Shadowlands, which was very sad.

I remember really liking "Out of the Silent Planet" part of a trilogy. It's sort of philosophical sci-fi coming out of his Christian beliefs. I think, as it's ages since I read it and I can't remember too much

I've started re-reading The Screwtape Letters. I started it at the book store & then I came home & go out the old copy I've had here for forever to read. The pages were so yellow & full of dust, I was allergic to it.

My eyes got so itchy, I thought I was going to rub my eyes out or something. Maybe I'll have to get rid of it & get a newer collection of his books.
For now, I will just read the ones at the book store, I guess. I also started one of his others at the book store, at the same time...;-)

Maybe you have an allegory allergy.
