It was Richard Neville, after the Oz trial in 1970. "It is within that inch that we live and work".
Nowadays I doubt that there is any real difference between them, or rather we have assumed the American model, as we do in so much, and have done in so much since the end of WW2.

I say VOTE GREEN! (But I would say that, wouldn't I?) However much a bunch of incompetent environmentalists might cock up running the country, at least they won't be in thrall to the fascist Saudi royal family, or the corrupt financiers of Canary Wharf.

There is no hiding the contempt that Bennett, 48, has for Ukip and its policies – especially on immigration – but the situation is one that she believes is "really healthy for politics"

Have a listen to "Down The Line - with Gary Bellamy", the episode on immigration. It was broadcast on BBC4 Extra y'day morning, and was hilarious. This beats it hands down.
