Vocal Global at the Green Note Friday 2nd May

Postby Cricket Jam » Wed Apr 30, 2014 3:06 pm

A night of musical Journey around the world with Vocal Global; From the Caribbean to the Middle-East full with vocals, ethnic beat box, conscious lyrics in Hebrew, English.

DavidX (France/Martiniqe) plays violin, guitar and is an amazing beat-boxer! He imitates talking drums, congas, darbuka, tabla, brass, bass and the list is still long. He also builds his own electro acoustic prototype-instruments.
Noga(Israel) is a singer-song writer .She sings in Hebrew, English, Portuguese, and Creole.

In their music they mix influences from both of their origins (the Middle East and French-Caribbean) with other music they love such as African music, Brazilian, Jazz and more... The result is music that crosses borders and cultures and carries a strong message of cultural celebration!

Just before the release of their debut album Vocal Global are coming to play at the beautiful Green Note for a special intimate show!
