It’s time to grab your 15 minutes of DJ fame at The Sound of the World DJ Relay 2012 offering those on the Chilli Fried mailing list, contributors to the Sound of the World website and anyone else interested the chance to show off their skill behind the decks with short DJ sets. Everyone, from well known DJs, broadcasters and journalists to fresh faced first timers, get a quarter of an hour to play their selection of whatever they like and try to fill the floor. Come and join this FREE party and expect the unexpected.

All are welcome to sign up for a DJ slot, first come first served, places are limited. Your host Jamie Renton will be on hand to help out anyone squeamish about the technical side of things

Interspersed throughout the evening will be short live sets from a whole range of musician friends and quite possibly some surprise guests too! Details to follow.

i would very much like to play ..... tho being totally upfront I am not 100% sure if i will be able to come as it depends who is around to help my mother in the evening....so can it be flexible please? if i do make it there I would definitely want to play some tracks... but a bit of have your cake and eat it ... ruminate Jamie - let me know - i suppose i would reach early or late ....
