Johnny Marr talks guitar

Why do the blues sound like the blues?
Why do certain chord changes work so well?

Johnny Marr talks guitar

Johnny Marr is such a great role model for British guitar players. "How Soon Is Now" grew out of Hamilton BoHannon? Well of course...

He plays so beautifully. It's such a pleasure:

I love these instructional videos. I remember the one by Wilko Johnson. It's so different than watching a performance as they sit there and talk to you - the camera actually, but it does feel like a personal lesson. Sometimes they are as I would have imagined or more or less so or not at all.

He's got such great feel, doesn't he? Nothing overly flash but so musical. I can listen to him all day.
