Mine is 'Pretty Bradley' no middle name :)

I like the idea of being 'lightning Tall Lee'

See what your name is by clicking on the link.

No. I don't buy it. What kind of a name is Screamin' Fingers Jenkins? I always wanted to be Lonesome Bo Regard.

I wish my name was Vernon Martin Young - then I could be Toothless Gumbo Blue. Alan Balfour would bid a fortune on e-bay for my rare 78s, I'd grant Garth Cartwright my first interview in 87 years for his next book and I'd sue Page and Plant for stealing my riffs. And the Delta ladies would be queuing up cos they all know what a toothless boogie man can do with his gumbo tongue. Yessir. Chase my blues away.

Boney Bones Dupree
which is a bit feeble I reckon, but if I use my married name it's even dafter-
Boney Bones Legs Liver McGee.

Obviously not cut out to be a blues person ( perhaps some sort of carnivore though!) :-)

Boney Liver Davis here. The Boney fits. Andy, maybe we could work up a trade? Or, I could call myself Horace Katchafire Lambsbread. Ahem. I think I like that one better though, all slang aside, it's not as cool a name as Burning Sticks Lion.

{Edit: after catching up on the forum and looking at the bad lyrics section, I see that 'liver' is not one of your favorite words, Andy. At least, not in a song lyric.}

Curly Mama Davis.

But there is one thing fundamentally wrong with that name. Or otherwise, it would place me in the gauche regions of the blues scene. My ID would state: "stage name: Curly Mama Davis". Gender: male".

And my lanky blond hair would never curl up on a quiff like, say, Esquerita's.

Hmmm. That Chester Arthur Burnette was something of a fraud. None of this "Howlin' Wolf", nonsense. It turns out that for years I've been listening to Sticky Bones McGee's records. Things will never be the same.

Also step forward Jailhouse Lee aka "Muddy Waters". "You Can't Lose What You Ain't Never Had", you sang. Well, Mr Morganfield, you just lost my trust in human nature. I hope you're proud.

Yrs sincerely Ugly Dog Thompkins

Without the benefit of using that scrap of reproduced paper, I think I'll be known as Jake Leg Knucklehead — if I'm not already by some in this forum.

My band, if I have one, will be the Organ Grinders although the billing will always be Jake Leg Knucklehead and His Organ Grinders — even if I only have one monkey behind me. And I expect all the M&Ms to be color graded.
