Before heading off for a more musical second part of the evening at the Ritzy (great evening!) last night I was at the Old Operating Theatre in London Bridge for the opening of a play that's been specially written for this very atmospheric and intimate setting. The audience are seated in the galleries looking onto the operating table, and assume the role of young medics watching the plight of an African couple in London in need of medical attention in the 1830s. It lasts just an hour and is very well acted. On until 12th March.
