Just in case anyone's missed its rather low-key appearance this morning: http://www.googleartproject.com/ .

Thanks I didn`t know about this Neil. I don`t have time to explore it right now but it looks amazing.

And while we're at it, here's the Telegraph's selection of the best online culture archives:

I clicked on MoMA but I'm only getting the Post-Impressionists. I was rather hoping for a more representative selection - or am I not doing it right?

I don't know about what's available on GAP, but try this: http://moma.org/explore/collection/index .

When you tried GAP, you may have been stuck in one room, in which case you need to use the floor plan or other navigating device.

There's already been an article on what's wrong with the GAP ( http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/art/ ... oject.html ), but I'm sure it will be refined. Some people are never satisfied.
