I'm a recent but enthusiastic convert to this understated and bleak comedy. It's nerdy inadequate middle-aged protagonists bickering over their shared hobby/obsession struck more of a chord with me than is probably healthy. I wonder if others here might feel the same?

The final episode has just aired but I think it's all still available on i-player.

it's (in my terms) brilliant. Looking forward to seeing the last episode

Agreed Chris. A downbeat gem.

I've still got 2 more to watch

careful the penultimate one hasn't, or doesn't, drop off the iPlayer. I'm still missing BBC episodes of series I've enjoyed. DVDs are too pricey & wasteful, and I don't know how to pay & stream 'old' (from this year) BBC stuff - not even sure they do it.

Excellent*....beautiful little bit about men and their hobbies in the last episode.

* I nearly followed this with the word programme. Doesn't it strike you as an odd word to have adopted and kept to describe this type of entertainment? And yet I flinch at using the word show as our american cousins would have it. Perhaps just one of my own little foibles.

In which Toby Jones managed to make the word "cacti" sound like the funniest thing imaginable.
