A back-handed compliment from Michael Hodges' Slice of Life column in this week's Time Out:
"Don't stay up the night before your 6am flight drinking the bottle of calvados your sister bought back from Brittany while throwing rolled up balls of silver foil at the cat and listening to Charlie Gillett's world music show on Radio 3. You'll miss your plane. Do listen to Gillett, though. It is possible the most engaging show on British radio aside from breakfast time on Yorkshire Coast Radio which, for its jingles alone (imagine somthing along the lines of 'we're making a splash in Filey, waking you up in Whitby' sung by the Swingle Singers on bad horse drugs), can't be beaten."
