EDIT : it didn't give me access to the URL - but what you do is change location to "Any Country" and genre to "Afrobeat", and then there it is in all its (lack of) glory

It's long been a complaint of mine that Afrobeat has ceased to have any real meaning as a genre. It's just used to describe any vaguely funky music with some loose link to African styles and a lot of horns and percussion, perhaps some political consciousness — if you're lucky. Chris is right; most of this stuff is about as Afrobeat as, I don't know, words are failing me, alright as Afrobeat as Bush's ass! And as equally depressing.
