Timing Query

Hi Charlie, Zee,

I've not long posted a message and the odd thing is that the time given for the posted message is about 30 minutes into the future.

What's happening? Maybe the clock needs resetting, or something?

Nikki

Don't panic. You have been sucked through a hole in time. We are trying to get you back.

No, you should stay there, Nikki, thirty minutes ahead of the rest of us, and give us a warning if anything bad is about to happen

I am posting this at 5.55 pm ...just testing what time stamp the system gives.

Time Stamp

OK we are 1 hour out...but I have just checked the settings and we are on GMT. The server's in Paris so maybe we are operating on French time? Any way I have configured it to GMT + 1 hour and that should do the trick.
This was posted at 6.01 pm according to my system clock.

Time stamp..

We are still half and hour out...we'll have to get in touch with Mondomix and get them to set their system clock on the servers!

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think this is worth troubling Mondomix about, Zee. We can all get used to being 30 minutes ahead. Maybe somebody can write a song about it.

Zager & Evans already did... give or take the odd few hundred years.

Charlie, I'll give you a little clue about the future...it's..

"... so bright, you gotta wear shades..."

And, Ted I am giving you a complimentary pass for Nikki's Ark. (Your concern was touching, unlike someone who is expecting me to be like one of the canaries, they used to send down the mines...prior to the invention of the Davy Lamp. See all those history lessons weren't wasted.)

Anyway, let me get back to my armchair, and contemplate my plans for world domination....now, where's that pussy....?

I knew you were going to say that.

Oh dear, Rob, I guess that was rather predictable. I was going to quote Prince & The Revolution and say "....I've seen the future and it will be...."
(I can't remember what song it's from - maybe 1999 - but he never says what it's going to be...he just repeats "...I've seen the future and it will be...")

Actually, at the moment Charlie is playing something that reminds me of those science fiction television themes - something you could imagine being used for Space 1999, or something like that - the song by Tarantula (vocalists from Cambodia/ or was it Vietnam? It's the music rather than the vocals that reminds me of those tv themes). Spooky, eh?
