I search in vain for a Muddy Waters.

If you ask multimap.com to find a Muddy Waters in the UK it comes up with Montrose Football Club as the nearest match.

What is the "outbox" section really for? It's not like a "draft" cause the messages sitting there idly are actually those I thought I sent.
Thanky for reply :-)

Hi Antonija

I think it's where the messages sit while they're waiting to be sent. If you can see messages in your outbox, it means that they haven't gone yet. You've probably got a setting somewhere on your internet connection that specifies a length of time between checks on your inbox - your outbox will be emptied at the same time. If there are messages in there that you think should have gone a while ago, you may have connection problems.

Hope this helps

Rob

We had all this earlier in the year, and it was driving me mad too. The PM sits in the "outbox" until the person you sent it to opens the message and reads it. So, they have to know they've received a message - an email goes to their registered email address telling them a message is awaiting them, and if they don't check and open it, then it will sit...and sit...and sit.....

Simple, eh?

Thanks Rob, thanks Norman!
I had several thoughts on this subject and both of those (connection and reception ) were among possible solutions.
