Improper use of forum

Postby gordonfmoore » Tue Oct 10, 2006 3:52 pm

I hope someone has deleted the filth that iiilizium posted. This is a family show and doesn't need porn. I sometimes use a school computer and if this sort of stuff is found on my laptop I'll get the sack and be put on the sexual offenders register. Please, if you really must direct us to such stuff, please at least use a url and a huge WARNING.

Despite Zee's best efforts, you'll never prevent messages like that being posted. Surely the rule of thumb is you only open trusted sources at work, the dodgy stuff or reading of messages from new "members" should be left for home. Not preaching, just stating my own approach.

Fair point, I just wasn't expecting it. I'm not bothered what other people do, and I'm pretty careful on the web, but on this forum there's all sorts of interesting and irreverant subject titles. I'll be a bit more careful in future.

I weed out the intruders whenever I find them, but send me a private message if you find one that seems to have evaded my eagle eye
