Quick Before They Vanish!

May I make a request that new topics and posts don't disappear quite so quickly? Several times recently I have seen something and thought: "I'll watch/listen to that later" only to find it's gone next time I log in and I can't remember who posted it or where (encroaching senility, I know). If new posts could stay up for a day or two that would be fine.

I think they do stay up ----- at least somewhere. Unless the poster takes them down for whatever reason, no one else is removing them. 'zat so, Rob?

Any that have not appeared in "new posts" at least twice can be found under "unanswered posts"

Unanswered posts is very useful.

Although if they have been answered, you have a problem! You can always try the most frequently used category titles.

There also seems to be a tab called 'Bookmark Topic', but I haven't ventured into it.

Sorry, only just seen this.

Unfortunately, tinkering with the site setup is outside of my remit - I can only deal with membership/logon issues. We need Zee to do anything to the way in which the site operates, and I don't think he's logged on since October 2014. I can confirm that no-one is removing posts (unless the original poster removes something for whatever reason); they are simply slipping down the timeline as new posts are added.

Personally, I use the 'New posts' feature to keep track of new stuff, and then rely on my diminishing powers of memory to go back to look for stuff I couldn't view properly first time around. I suspect that the 'Bookmark' feature might be useful to both of us Adam.
