Baseball by Ken Burns

Postby c hristian » Mon Dec 24, 2007 12:30 pm

10 volume documentary on Baseball by Ken Burns. Converting the VHSes to DVDs for all the guys around me. It's that good, and yes, tis sad but true, we are all into baseball around here to one degree or another. But if you ARE into baseball, than I highly recommend. It's the usualy thorough ken burns treatment on something that (surprise!) isn't WAR!!

Interesting is that it is more related to Rounders than Cricket.

Up since 4am playing through the 2nd DVD. Must play my saxophone now. (i think this means going to the kitchen or basement. don't want to wake anyone up.)

Again, if you like baseball, than this is the documentary for you.

Have Steroids been a big issue in sports there like they have been here with baseball?
I'd kind of prefer to think that my favoirte players on my team weren't into that, but I am aware some might have been. I wonder how clear the rules were on that, in the past.
