Kiwis have a lot more to shout about than us Brits (well, I wouldn't have minded if Algeria actually scored a goal, but I'm atypical!) when it comes to the footie.

I doubt if he's interested. He hadn't even heard of Radio 5 Live.

I doubt it too, but the World Cup does do funny things to people so you never know...

I noticed that, but I had an untypical bout of politeness and didn't mention it. I love 5 Live (apart from the ghastly Mark Kermode and his film '''''reviews'''''').

They're doing brilliantly and if they get through to the next round I might even try and watch one of their games.
