The only band I know who could start a song in Tirana and end it in Nashville by way of Kinshasa. Had to be seen to be believed and I believe were featured on a very old Radio London program with Charlie at the helm.
They would have an artist (Brak Mustapha) paint them whilst playing and then auction the outcome to the audience. I had two painting which were subsequently stolen and I also won a tin of Foul Medames in a competition of spot that tune.
I meant it as sour-faced, refusing to crack a smile. In the case of the 3 Mustaphas 3, it would mean being completely unamused - if not worse - at their faux-Balkan impersonations and fez-wearing antics, seeing this as disrespectful of such culture. I remember similar criticisms, though not from me....
