Pete Cassell, the “King of the Hillbillies” aka "The Blind Minstrel" born 100 years ago today, 27th August, 1917 (Cobb County, Georgia) [died 29th July, 1954]

Known more for his radio work rather than his records, but these are two from his first recording session (1941) -
