Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr. - born 14th June, 1931 (Blytheville, Arkansas) [died 23rd November, 1995] - his Motown biography had his year of birth as 1942 to make him appear aged 22 rather than 33 when he had his first hit with 'Shotgun'.

'Shake and Fingerpop' (1965 live on "Shindig!")

'What Does it Take (to Win Your Love)' (1969) - stereo recording dubbed onto clip which seems to go out-of-sync half way through

With the Spinners on backing vocals. The producer/writers Johnny Bristol & Harvey Fuqua had the track recorded in 1967, but it took until the following year to persuade Junior to add his contribution, and a further year before Berry Gordy could be persuaded to issue it as a single. It proved to be his biggest seller.

'How Sweet it is (to be Loved by You)' - on TV in Holland with an 80s version of the All Stars (one of whom has posted a comment)

"Jr. Walker's AllStar Band" continued to appear after their leader's passing, at least into the current decade.
