While following up on Kastamandou's post on World music by viewing Hozan Besir videos, I discovered a form of animation I am so surprised I have not been aware of. It is called 'sand animation', or 'sand art' and is a form of sand painting'.

There are tons of samples on YouTube - from the hoaky to the sublime. Like I said, I was surprised I have not seen it before.
