I am writing about the C4 programme last night on Keith Jarrett, which I thought was tremendous. It's so unusual to have a lengthy programme of this type at this time of the day, and a merciful relief from the normal drivel on the tv at this time of day - ie soaps and the "news" etc; so often these types of music programmes tend to be half an hour late at night, giving scant justice to the subject in hand. Not so, in this case. Charlie -any chance of Manfred Eicher for a ping pong?
