Just browsing the dictionary in an effort to finish my crossword and came across this definition -
Jaggery - A coarse brown sugar. Extraordinary.

Some intriguingly likeable rhetorical words here:
(1) Anaphora: repetition of words or a phrase at the beginning of a clause or sentence.
(2) Polysyndeton: overuse of conjunctions.
(3) Ethos: attempt to establish authority or connection with the audience.
(4) Occultatio: a figure that brings in material while pretending not to talk about it.
(5) Tricolon: three units of speech put in a row.
(6) Peroration: final part of an argument.
(7) Chiasmus or antimetabole: four terms in a criss-crossed relation to each other.

context - Jodie Foster's Golden Globe speech:

My favourite rhetorical term used to be litotes (pronounced lie-toe-tees) but I can't for the life of me remember what it means and it would probably only disappoint me if I looked it up now.

A crossword clue I came across last night:
Writer who contrived litotes (1,1,5).
