Like the Clash said - a car in the fridge or a fridge in the car?

I haven't heard that one by The Clash. There's a lot I haven't heard by them, apparently.
I'm listening to a Classic American Top 40 show from 1975 & if anyone's interested, the number one song was Frankie Valley, & My Eyes Adored You. Is he very wll liked here? I sort of liked him sometimes, but wasn't really a favorite.

Today another funny thing happened! I just washed my watch & it still works!
I accidently left it in my shirt pocket, because I use it to keep track of how long I spend walking, for excersize. I didn't know I forgot about it, until I opened the dryer. Oh Boy.

When I went to Borders today, I was looking at more World Music CDs. I saw one of Charlie's World of Music CDs mixed in with a row of various others. So I moved it to the front, where it's easy to see. :-)

I think the rarefied atmosphere up this mountain is making you a bit lightheaded girl. Doesn't this post belong in a different thread? Something to do with a thread starting with World????

Ahh, what the hell. So Demon Albarn eh, what a guy, what....a...guy!

btw what do you think of my star chart? it just magically appeared with my name, I bet that pixie CG had something to do with that.

What about Howard eh, what a guy.

Talking about record shops, what's the craziest shop you've ever been in.

Tinariwen eh, what a guy

The Real Gordon sure has an interesting interview technique doesn't he? What a guy. Who would have thought that you could meet all these people in Fife. I hope his goats are okay, not feeling neglected.

Con's a guy eh. Where's ritchie? he sure is some guy isn't he.

Des and his lists, he's so cute.

Do you remember the shark that nearly took your foot off by the lake? Crazy world eh.

What's a CD anyway?

Garth sure like War doesn't he.

Ah it's such a beautiful moon, nearly full. You know it's the passover moon. Such memories.

You know, I was on the way to the Forum, and a funny thing happened.

Good night!

Do you have people there that like to play Rap music so loud in their cars that it rattles everyone's windows? It's too bad there isn't a speaker on here so you could hear it.

Is there another thread I could start that would be better for these various questions I have & thoughts? What would you call it, that isn't too strange?
I really like to just talk about a variety of things to people like I have been, but not just keep throwing everything in here. I could go back to using that Breakfast show thing, but I feel funny about the name of it.

This morning I turned on my computer & it has a little box that ususally opens about this time for the time change, the Spring ahead. It's incredibable that a computer can figure that it's that time of year like that. it has a little place to click on OK, & it will change the time. It made me a little bit nervous though.
I was thinking what will happen to my computer if I press that OK button, now since the time was already changed here earlier than ususal? It turned out OK, because another box opened that lets you adjust the time if it needs it. So I just set it back again, & pressed the OK button again. It kind of felt like I almost had a Y2K problem here.

The other cartoon band

Postby Dayna » Fri Apr 27, 2007 5:40 pm

The song by the Artchies, called Sugar was one I heard all the time growing up & the cartoon was on then too. I have always thought that song sounded really good when they play it.

I read a little about it & saw who the real singer was, but can't remember it now. But he later ended up producing songs for people like Barry Manilow & some others i didn't care for.

That's hard to believe. I've never liked Barry Manilow. Thought he was kind of hokey. I think he might qualify for what Howard would call pretentious.

But, that one song, by The Artchies is very good. That one song was so much better than the music by the people he produced!
