I have the personnel listing for the session, but I don't know who was playing lead - maybe Bill Suyker, but it could have been Al Shackman .... or Bob Bushnell ... :-NormanD wrote:It's got Bert Berns written all over it. Great guitar playing - do you know who it was?
A favourite of mine too. I also understand it was Paul Griffin playing piano on 'Like a Rolling Stone' (although Frank Owens, who played on earlier takes, is often credited) - and Burt Bacharach usually employed him on his sessions. Al Kooper has suggested that it was probably Paul playing the (much mentioned on SoTW) solo on 'Baby It's You' by the Shirelles.NormanD wrote:Paul Griffin does play piano on one of my favourite Dylan songs, "One Of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later)"
