Middle-aged rockers with new vital releases

New releases (that are supposed to sound really good) by Jackson Brown, Lindsey Buckingham, and a new one by Chrissie Hynde and her new Pretenders!! (one could say they are pretending to be Pretenders, or since it's about who Chrissy Hynde annoints, just new Pretenders.)

In honor of the new Pretender's album (and I do hope that means TOUR..)

So, presumably she'd be The Great Pretender.

I bought Lindsay Buckingham's 2006 album "Under the Skin" after hearing one track - very impressive. I look forward to hearing the new one.
I can't really appreciate what Jackson is doing these days. I love his music but, as with Ry Cooder, I prefer to stick to the classic eras of the 70s and 80s.
Pretenders never really did it for me.
