This film has been getting lots of awards. I've just been to see it and loved it. I could have sat there for two days engrossed in the many different personal stories going on is this well-structured (ie not overly long and drawn out!) film about an Algerian who shows up as a replacement teacher in Montreal when he hears that a class has been devastated by the suicide of their teacher in their classroom. I'm a big fan of Fellag, the leading actor, ever since I saw him in one of his one-man shows in Paris a few years ago. He made me laugh a lot, and cry too. This film made me cry more than laugh (most people were dry eyed - I think it was my mood too that played a part!) but it is well written and well acted. Do go and see it!
