This link was put on my Facebook page.
I didn't even like Lie To Me for a long time, but it's grown on me and so has Tim Roth.
I love his accent. He's a great actor from what I've seen so far.

Tim Roth is a great actor. Here's one from the vaults that possibly doesn't feature too prominently on his CV (resume) these days...

Opinion thirded.

I remember him first from "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" (which I absolutely loved):

I got to follow his work a little more closely while I was translating the two-part TV adaptation of Jack London's "Sea Wolf". The two central movers in that story are, as you may know, two driven and ruthless sealing schooner captains, who are also brothers and bitter rivals. Roth is the worse of them, "Death" Larsen.

(Recommended, by the way: a good film with some brilliant acting.)

Then again - as many brutish villains as he has portrayed, it is equally nice to watch Roth in a gentler role.

(edit: a severe factual mistake about "Sea Wolf". I'm happy there aren't Jack London fans around here...)

All these are things I've never seen before. Tim Roth plays a lot of rough characters.

Last thing I saw Tim Roth in was Skellig. I love the book (by David Almond) and was unsure whether its mystery could be captured on film, but I think they made a pretty good job of it.

It was made for TV - I don't know if it's been shown in the US, but the DVD is released there in August.

Here's a trailer: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x906e2_skellig_shortfilms

Here's some new Facebook photos of tonights spring premier. The show went off the air for a few months and is just coming back now for the summer.

In Lie To Me, he plays a man that works for the FBI. He's is good at reading people's faces and can tell what's going on inside. Makes you wonder if there could be some people like that.

Tim Roth has a lot of fans because of Lie To me. They aare saying it's the best TV show on and he's the best actor on TV. I watched tonight's newest episode and it was very deep as usual.

Lie To Me was good tonight. There was some great acting from Annette O' Toole who played a woman with alzheimers.
