Or Steve Coogan. It's got to be a send up surely?

Judging from the comments, it doesn't seem to be. The radio host is apparently known as an amiable prat, and the interviewee - himself a radio presenter - has a pompous reputation.

I'm just amazed that so many local presenters seem never to have heard Alan Partridge - he started off just like this in his early days on Radio Norwich before he went large with his own PearTree Productions.

I've heard a few past gems on BBC Radio London, though now I rarely listen. The best was when the breakfast broadcaster, Joanne Good, said, in talking about another programme, "there's an item on about Jamaican patios". Her co-presenter, who clearly didn't want to be there, patiently explained "I think you'll find that's Jamaican patois".
