Yes - it worked! Thanks for that, Papa.

Interesting show. I had got the wrong end of the stick regarding its concept, but enjoyed the selections anyway.

I can report that the same thing happens when using a Mac, just round and round in silence.

Is this some sort of secret society?

I'm told that Mac computers present some problems for streaming websites.

Another point worth mentioning is that all new listeners to TotallyRadio are required to "sign-up" on their first log-in. It costs nothing but until you sign-up (i.e. - register your name) the stream will not operate.

Sorry if it seems impenetrable. Once you've cracked the entrance mystery you'll not be disappointed hopefully.

On a PC at least, I didn't sign up but was able to hear shows streamed in what's described as 'low' quality but sounded perfectly acceptable to me. You DO have to register for more than that (higher quality, archives etc).

At the bottom of the Rough Guides page on the book, it says:

Do you have your own examples of lost classics and overlooked genius? Send them in to us at
Bestmusic@roughguides.com and we’ll try to include the most interesting in the next edition!

Your chance to see your name and selection in print, at least.
