Imbibe of your favoured intoxicant, turn up the bass and enjoy!
A few weeks back I was invited to DJ a classic reggae set at a birthday/book launch afterparty for queen of Jamaican poetry Jean Binta Breeze. Unfortunately this all fell through, but by then I'd already worked out much of what I intended to play and so created this mix, which I burnt onto CD and sent off to Jean as a birthday gift. Listening back, it sounded well worth a share online. There's nothing too clever or obscure about these selections and (perhaps because I created it on a Sunday afternoon), the mix gets pretty mellow at times, but hopefully it'll bring a smile to your face and a skank to your step.

A great mix Jamie, it did wonders to brighten a dreary Friday as I slaved over a hot mouse.
