The wonderful Stefan of Worldservice has put online a podcast tribute to Ibrahim Sylla;

10 great tracks of "classic" West-African grooves; fast, syncopated beats, fat brass, and fabulous filligree guitar lines over the top.

The last track, however, is the wonderful loose bluesy swing of "Kobogui" by Palm Jazz de Macenta.

(There's a strong echo there of Charlie's favorite, "Toko" by Momo Wandel Soumah.)
