An excellent programme, written and presented by Joe Boyd, on the life and times of New Orleans piano genius (yes, a description I agree with). A great complement to the recent film, "Bayou Maharajah".

Seven days to rock, and listen.

PS One thing I now know. The Doctor's given name is pronounced "R-ben-nick", not "Rebber-neck", at least by Joe Boyd. Although Joe says Allen "Two-Saint" rather than "Toussan". So, who knows?
