London Diaspora Live looks behind the scenes at Carnival this week.

Notting Hill Carnival is not that far off and everyone is getting ready - especially the Calypsonians. DJ Debbie (Golt) talks to two brilliant artists who will be performing in the studio as well. First off, Junior Monarch Kiki B, who at 14 is already a cutting edge lyricist raring to go. And reigning UK Calypso Monarch and WOM@TT Best of British 2010 winner Alexander D. Great who has written for many other Calypso Tent winners and is a BBC Calypsonian in Residence - extemporising on the topics of the day. His 'overproof' lyrics and irresistible dance tracks are outstanding - especially 'Haiti'.
