Martin Alvarado is regarded as the best new singer to emerge from Argentina in recent years. Listen to this A World In London and you’ll hear why! Upholding the Tango tradition with his fine tenor voice, he sings LIVE accompanied only by his acoustic guitar and Mikko Helenius on the bandoneon. See Martin perform at the Temple of Light in Shoreditch this Saturday!

Calypso monarch, Alexander D. Great, made his first appearance on A World In London today. Armed with just acoustic guitar he gave an impromptu live rendition of The Mighty Sparrow classic, ‘Carnival Boycott’, plus the background to some of his thought-provoking songs from superb CDs, ‘Finest Cuts’ and ‘Haiti’.
