hey Charlie, loving your show shame it wasn't longer. I live in Ibiza which is not huge on world beats, can you recommend a site where I can buy world beats from and can listen to sound clips? thanks

Amazon.co.uk is pretty good for buying CDs but also check the others on our Links page

fRoots editor Ian A has spoken highly of the French site Alapage for supplying CDs that Amazon has not caught up with yet.

check the links page here, Steve

HMV is actually good on world music in London and so presumably your local shop could order.

HMV also has a pretty good website

I just had a look at the links page & noticed that Stern's is listed under record labels but not in the Mail Order section.

The website is http://www.sternsmusic.com

Alapage has two other advantages over Amazon:
it stocks/lists French and other continental releases that you may not find at Amazon;
and it suggests sources for good bargains.

(and using it gives you a good reason to brush up your french...)

strangly enough i find the ASDA website quite good and above all cheap.
