I've always loved Fado but this is a huge thank you to Charlie for recommending Mariza in many of his programmes. I bought Transparante the other week here in Turkey and can't stop playing it. I was actually introduced to her music by chance by a local lady in a small bar where I'm currently living - the final connection only came when I heard Charlie talking about her on a previous programme. Her voice and music are truly awesome.
