This week my fave forumistas (apart from Clowns, Judith and Dayna permathreads) have been:

1) Garth - sensible lad
2) Norman - like a terrier with a bone
3) Charlie - well you gotta say that ain't ya!

Who will it be next week? Watch this space!

The panel of judges are deciding who this week's top forumista is going to be - I can't divulge anything at the moment of course, but in contention are Dominic and Kas for doing vaguely interesting things recently, and Adam for at least still talking about music.

Final decision will be announced in the next couple of days.

If there is a poll for best pseudonym for the man with many names, I vote for Prince Desbo

You can't. He no longer exists. He has assumed divinity.

Edit: Sorry. I see what you mean now. The best name of the many used by the present I Am the God of Hell Fire was Prince Desbo. Yes, I liked that one a lot. I was also very fond of faux pwoaarrr, although I 'm not sure I have the spelling exactly correct.

Right, this weeks winners are:

Joint no. 1: Dominic and Kas - the jury service and ice skates thing was quite interesting.

Joint no. 2 Jonathan and Adam - for useful contributions.

Well done chaps.

You're too kind. I assure you that "the jury service thing" is not that interesting.

I suspect that Adam and I will now need several pints to calm ourselves down after all the excitement.

You'll be buying, right? After all, you are now God, even if only of Hell Fire, and a few quid should mean nothing to you.

Those are pints of BEER, of course! Not anything else your devious mind can think of serving up as pints. I'll be over.

Not a good week for the forum I'm afraid, the lack of stimulating musical discussion making things a bit stagnant.

Having said that, Adam's heartwarming Ray Davies story was lovely, as was Kas's skating exploits. Garth's 'liberal-hating' comment was typically astringent, while Kirin's 'tears' post was remarkable. So I award them all with the title Forumistas of the Week.

Gordon is bubbling under but that may be too much broccoli.

This week, it's Garth for starting the DID thread which is proving popular. Well done Garth.

I'm the trouble starter, punking instigator.
I'm the fear addicted, danger illustrated.
I'm a threadstarter, twisted threadstarter,
you're the threadstarter, twisted threadstarter.
I'm the bitch you hated, filth infatuated.
Yeah, I'm the pain you tasted, fell intoxicated
I'm a threadstarter, twisted threadstarter,

and so on.

I don't know about that. Either Garth's a sadist or I'm a masochist. Doing that DID thing is tying me up in knots. I'm in agony. Seven excruciating choices made and I'm paralyzed by the eighth! Let alone figuring out what luxury item to bring — or rather which of my many luxury items I'd have to leave behind.

But I guess you knew all that when you nominated Garth, didn't you? That's a revealing few lines about the unmitigated evils of threadstarting.
