FIP Radio have this as one of their CDs of the month for February. Sounds interesting. She's a native American singer/songwriter, and she's had a couple of mentions here in the past. A brief listen suggests that this album might mark something of a departure for her:

Unless she's improved massively she's not much cop. I saw her playing support at union chapel a few years ago - doing a very average blues rock. Trades on the fact that she is part Native American but as she grew up in Manhattan with a mother singing opera at the Met' and she went to stage school I don't think she's comparable with Nakai, Radmilla Cody and other Native artists on Canyon Records. Then again, I should have a listen - maybe she has improved!
