Orchestra Fireluche

Just got this CD in the post. First I've heard of them, though by the looks of the site above they've made a few albums before. Italian/Spanish collective playing a sort of indie folk (but don't let 'indie folk' put you off - this is a very Mediterranean and non-posey kind of indie-folk, which kind of reminds me a bit of Mano Negra, Paolo Conte, classic chanson and spaghetti Westerns.

You can only hear 4 tracks from the album on the bandcamp page, but I'm listening as I type, and the rest of the album seems pretty darn good so far...

Good find, Matt, thanks for sharing. They've included a few too many electronic added blips and blops, but the singing is lovely, and melodies too. Hard to know what to call it, but certainly non-posey.

Good stuff. A broad and excitingly full canvas of acoustic sound with plenty of tuned percussion & many voices. Would like to see them live. Calling all gig, festival and band promoters!
