just listening to the free download Aya Anfle, and don't care for the electric guitar at all - kills it for me, will have to temper my enthusiasm & expectations for the album, which have perhaps been raised too high by Banning's words & my innate liking for the ngoni and Andra's playing in the past

Don't worry Chris, there's plenty n'goni on the album.

Andra incorporates a variety of influences in his music: “I am always searching and listening and trying to understand more music. If I only played traditional music in the same way, it would simply be too limiting for me. I want to expand. It’s what I was meant to do.”
