Ah the joys of a lunch break and internet access. I've just ordered this 4 CD box set featuring rare 1970s reggae produced by Niney the Observer, having heard a few tracks on David Rodigan's Kiss FM reggae show. Dennis Brown, I Roy and The Heptones get a CD each + there's a disc of dub. All for £8.99 at HMV:

I'll report back (but can't imagine that I won't love it!)

You will enjoy
Retro cd sleeves and good little booklet. The recording is a bit naff on the Dennis Brown cd but overall a great and cheap buy. The Heptones cd is great and over an hour long.
My only real gripe is that I struggle every time to open the flippin' box :-)

Thanks for the low down Nick.

While I was online yesterday lunchtime, I also ordered a tasty looking (and sounding, judging by the audio clips) Ethiopians CD

I felt a bit guilty at all this spend spend spend, but consoled myself with the fact that, at £2.99, the Ethiopians CD cost less than my lunch.
