in a different thread last summer, Seb Merrick praised her enough to make me buy the self-released acoustic album

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18696

just checked her website to see if there is any progress on the debut album, and it turns out it was actually released this week. Her voice sounds great again, but difficult to tell from the sound snippets if it's a tad overproduced, or if it's a good electronica/traditional mix

only UK site I have seen it listed on so far is amazon

I managed to find this album on eMusic, so I downloaded it. If it's on eMusic, that means it's probably available on Spotify, but I couldn't say for sure as I don't use Spotify.

Is it overproduced? Well, let's just say that it's not under-produced. She has a fine voice, and it isn't swamped by the production, but the album could not be described as intimate.

I found this track on YouTube. I don't know if it's a song to promote the new album, or a track off the album itself. In any case, it follows what you have described. Thanks, Rob.
