This has just started streaming on the Luisterpaal website. You can listen to the whole new album for another week or so.

I seem to remember Howard was quite enthusiastic about their first album. I've had a couple of listens to this today and I quite like it; there are a lot of strong rhythm tracks on the record, and the keen african music fan can pick out some familiar guitar sounds, too - Djelimady Tounkara style to name just one. I'm not really taken with the songs, however, or the singing, which seems to be relentlessly mournful over some nice upbeat tracks.

Has anyone else had a listen ?

I was quite keen on their first album too. Haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, but the vocalist received quite a few comments on the first album on account of his singing in Hebrew.
