We are really delighted to be welcoming Robin Gillan back to the Goose – it’s been far too long!

Robin is an accomplished mult-instrumentalist and singer, known for his emotive and authentic playing of old-time American and British traditional music.

His music reflects timeless old field recordings of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, & early 1920s commercial country recordings from the USA and British Isles.

Robin started playing folk guitar at the age of 8, and had an immediate aptitude and love for the music. Also it could be learned by ear. , Robin plays fiddle , 5 string (banjo) , squeeze box , mouth organ and voice. He has appeared at many folk clubs , festivals and concerts over the years, and has recently worked with Tom Paley on Toms' Old Time Moonshine Revue.
