Just giving this a little bump up to the top.

Adam will be playing live. Norman, Aly and myself will be amongst the DJs and Will's already got himself a ticket.

Any other Forumistas who fancy a night of blues, boogie, beer and absinthe would be most welcome.

Yes, Will has already got himself a ticket and it was my firm intention to pitch up via The South Bank where, I believe, Grupo Lokito are doing a free gig on the terrace at 5.30. It's already looking like I might not find time to get to there early enough but, selflessly, I hereby flag it up for you all. See you later alligators!

Thanks to The Shout Collective and Errol and his wonderful band for a really great night. It took me back to Bluesville'69. Wonderful music from the decks and the stage.

Aly - can you remember the name of the south african track I asked you about? And there was a version of These Boots.........who was that?

It was a good one. Those who didn't come, should have done.

Great to see Jamie, Ali, Norman, Deb, Hugh and Will. Sorry if there was anyone I missed catching up with.

Yes - excellent gig. Quite crowded and appreciative audience.

A friend said that the band on stage reminded him of this LP cover. Nice, eh?

Haha! I take it as a compliment but the thought of doing that much speed and alcohol makes me want to have a lie down.

Also, they're all honkies and actually, me and Pete are the only honkies (and Pete is a Serb who would kill me for calling him a honky...)

Glad everyone seemed to enjoy last night as much as I did. Errol and the band were on particularly fine form I thought (that guitarist's a bit good, isn't he).

The next Shout Collective session is on Sat 12th Dec, a festive Congo-Cuban special with Grupo Lokito playing live.
