I'm guessing most of you know Florence - she never posts here but was a good friend of Charlie's and sings at venues Adam and co' play at. If not, come and see her next Sunday - free entry and she's a great performer!

Anyway, here's the blurb:
Princes Amongst Men is proud to host the return of Florence Joelle on June 28th. The Paris-born, London-based singer and songwriter Florence Joelle has released two superb albums of strikingly original material. Her unique sound blends Django Reinhardt Gypsy Jazz with old time blues, savvy standards and socially conscious originals. Joelle is also something of a style icon, her beauty matched only by her wit. This Sunday she is joined by jazz guitarist Thierry Courault. “She sings rock ’n’ roll like Billie Holiday might, croons a torch ballad as Wanda Jackson may, and spices it all with a bit of Patti Smith attitude” - Vintage Guitar Magazine

Just a reminder for you couch potatoes that the divine Ms Joelle is at the Ritzy tonight. Cmon, you really don't need to watch The Who go thru the motions at Glasters on your sofa; come and support fresh London live music talent!

How very dare you! Some of us have work to do (gig in Islington). Hope it all goes well. Give Flo a Django Reinhardt riff from me...
