Errol Linton will be bringing his 5-piece Boogie Train to the latest exquisitely unique and hidden venue in Rotherhithe. Sands Films are the hosts. Wed 25th Feb is the date. Just in case there're people reading this who DON'T already know, Errol is himself three times winner of the Best Blues Harmonica Player award and is an absolute wiz on the harmonica. He sings too, true blues influenced by the greats, and drawing on both his South East London home and Jamaican heritage. Tickets to this and other upcoming gigs are on sale here: http://bit.ly/1DzLmUh Unusually (yes, this really is unique in every way!), your ticket entitles you to tea/coffee/herbal infusions. (And don't worry: both The Mayflower and The Ship are very close by!). Simplicity Restaurant is also just next door for a classier sit-down option. Do come.

This was a great night. Sands Films transformed their upstairs theatre with a brand new stage, drapes and Chinese lanterns. There are some nice photos on my relatively-recently-created facebook page (since I stopped holding the gigs at the Brunel Museum). They're taken by Annie Heslop. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004180007047

Aaaah... So YOU'RE Eleanor! The trouble with only meeting people in cyberspace. Thanks for looking after us so well. It was a lovely gig.
