Well, that turned out o.k. All I could have hoped for...and bagpipes.

Thanks for some really great records, great live music, and all the stories.

Nikki and Adam were at least as good as the rave reviews of their earlier gigs suggested. Great material. Hope you can take the project to wherever you want it to go.

I must get out more...... Jamie - where was it, in Barnet, I was supposed to be tonight?

Wallee, good to see you again, what was that you were saying about Rich Mix?

I wasn't earwigging your conversation, Will, but I imagine it was to do with the threatened closure of Rich Mix

Yes, it was a great evening - as ever - with two top class acts, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cassandre Balbar did toot on the bagpipes (though I think they're French or Italian) for World Scatterlings' encore of "Come On In My Kitchen". Nikki and Adam go from strength to strength - c'mon, get that record out.

An excellent night. It was good to see lots of familiar faces, some who I've not met for a while, Zee and Wally, for example, even Joe Cushley came! Norman, you're right about Nikki and Adam, really good. Just to be pedantic, Cassandra's pipes are Spainish/Basque and can she blow them! Really bluesy.
As always thanks Jamie.

i'm glad everyone enjoyed last night. So did I, maybe more than I should have (on reflection, that last glass of absinthe wasn't such a good idea, I left my headphones at Jamboree)

I wouldn't worry about that gig in Barnet Will. I didn't make it either and when I walked past the venue on my way back from the shops a little while ago, it looked pretty quiet.

Some workaday guitar player named Joe Buonasera (or something) got in touch about playing our next Shout Collective session on Sat 13th June. But sod him, we've booked the very wonderful Namvula instead.

...along with his muddy wolf, or howlin' waters, or whatever. You saved yourself fifty quid there, Jamie.
