Lokito are the brainchild of gifted salsa pianist Sara McGuiness, who set out to create a band that fuse her love of Central African and Latin American music. Here's the running order for Saturday, which I'm very pleased with. There are a fair few forumistas, some musicians, some pro DJs, a music journalist and every member of the Druker family (bar the cats). There's also the very wonderful Grupo Lokito live with their guitar driven mix of Congolese and Cuban sounds, it's free to get in and all ends in time to get the last train home!

19.30 Will Vine
19.45 Amanda
20.00 Tom Druker
20.15 Ramon Goose
20.30 Deb Smith
20.45 Adam Blake
21.00 Jania Cárdenas
21.15 DJ Debbie
21.30 Norman Druker
21.45 Grupo Lokito live
22.30 DJ Africathy
22.45 Alex Stewart
23.00 DJ Blind Bling
23.15 DJ Freestyle
23.30 Aly Prince
23.45 DJ Afro

Weird jazz is the least of my worries. Norman's son Tom is threatening to play 15 minutes of Napalm Death!

Napalm Death and Weird Jazz be damned. Errol threatened to come and play this:

But I told him it was more than 15 minutes long and he lost interest...

No. Not at all. HE was jesting, but being closet teenage Yes fans is one of the many things that we bond over...

Fair enough. Although can I express my disappointment that you didn't close by saying "...and don't call me Shirley"

I'm very much hoping you're sticking with the usual selection of blues 45s this evening and not dusting off your copy of "Tales from Topographical Oceans" or whatever it's called

I know better than that, Jamie. Besides, that was the album that caused the rift...

Do you know what? I think a good time was had by all last night. Lot's of welcome old faces, a fair few new ones, wonderful live music (Lokito without a drummer still know how to make the party come alive), great DJ sets throughout and quite a lot of dancing.

DJs, please post your playlists. People were asking.
